Paris & NY T-shirts

If you plan on buying your cat a sweater or jacket for the winter, like for traveling in the car or if your cat is shaved down, be mindful that they do not do well with arms built into the jacket. It needs to be cut up high or better yet, a “horse blanket” style jacket that has no arms and drapes over the back with a Velcro enclosure under the tummy and around the neck. Because a cat’s shoulders are built so differently, most dog clothes will not work on a cat. Their shoulders are built up much higher than a dog. A lot of older kitties do not maintain their body temperature as they get older and do get cold. We have a few high cut t-shirts that are perfect for cats, $12, and are great for 24 hour use. You may also want to get a heated pad for your older kitty this winter. Cat’s Exclusive has a heated pad that only turns on when the cat lays on it. Cats with kidney, thyroid and as I mentioned, seniors, do get cold.

  1. I would please!love to know what company makes the clippers that you use in your demo/videos as well as an idea on their cost of you don’t mind. I’ve had persians as pets for 34 years… Been lucky to have found a groomer here and there for the occasional haircuts when needed. We just don’t have cat groomers in my area. It was necessary to obtain full refunds from the last two grooming salons because of the botched up job they did on my blue smoke persian. They are far and few between in my city, it’s extremely pro-dog here in my area. I must order nearly all of his (and baby brothers too! ) specially stuff online….Ive tried my hand at cat grooming (with the clippers,i mean)many years ago and here I am 34 years later still without a regular groomer in this town of well over 100+thousand population. Sigh. (mastering the clippers) but had no one that could really show me such as your video does. The last time my boy got his HC,it was a fluke that she even knew what a teddy bear cut was… He did look lovely though….
so…I guess my main questions are:
1.) What is the brand name of these clippers?
2.) Did you use a special Vacuum system to suck up the the hair as it was being clipped or will it fit most home vacuum cleaners by an adjustable attaachment?
4.) I do bathe my own kitties and I’ve never had one of my own “shaved down” because it was severely matted or felted…Only when the seasons call for it do I comply for the kitty’s sake!
5.) I would have sent you an attachment with their pics but didn’t see where it allowed for that and there’s probably good reason, I’m sure

  2. Oh. .. One more thing that I left out. .. We are in Texas so I’d like to try to get a bit of a jump start on their haircuts this time. .. no pressure! Lol! 😀

I wanted to thank you for making our Nora look and feel so good. As I am typing this she is sitting on a shelf she hasn't been able to jump to in a long time. She is grooming herself again and getting around so much better. Thanks again, Anna Drake
